  1. A few of them are really lovely, including the Marlon Brando book, but I had to go for the Jack Kerouac “On the Road” cover. Love being on the road! :)))

  2. The Robert Capa is best for me, because they reflect strong feelings behind. The Brando too. But Robert Capa has more background behind more … force. The rest are pictures. They lack the life you have these two back. Photo of Robert Capa “speech.” The others do not. That’s it.

  4. The black and white image is powerful and draws you into a narrative straight away so tis number 5 in the line up for me. The film noir aspect is timeless and connotes drama and ushers us into that lit interior. – stunning image a short story could follow before opening the book .

  5. Shame you pick such an unspiring group of covers.
Cover of the year is Stanley Donwood’s (he of Radiohead fame) Household Worms, a beautifully embossed extract from his Fleet Street Apocalypse lino cut. The book’s brilliant, too
