Waiting for Robert Capa
The sadness of the “waiting robert capa” cover is moving…
classical and beautiful.
road goes everywhere
On The Road to Babadag – Random House is my favourite one!
That is a really nice book cover
On The Road to Babadag – Random House is my favourite one!

Awesome photo
“How I hate those who are dedicated to producing conformity” W.B.
Dramatic and simple. Very effective cover.
Satantango… “enter here”
Magnum Contacts please
The Letters of William Burroughs – Penguin Books
Magníficas
A few of them are really lovely, including the Marlon Brando book, but I had to go for the Jack Kerouac “On the Road” cover. Love being on the road! :)))
On the Road to Baghdad.
On The Road to Babadag – Random House
Satantango.
Satantago – thanks
Beware!
This image/cover marriage in particular retains, amplifies even, the conceit throughout. Would be eager to dive in.
Somebody is a nice moody photo, like the man himself with a retro rocky horror typo
So simple and in the sime time so dramatic.
waiting for Robert Capa….
The House in France
On the road to babadag!
The House of France……..bl/wh and cool angle…!
On the road, great
You can see the waiting in Waiting for Robert Capa – nice cover
On The Road to Babadag
The Robert Capa is best for me, because they reflect strong feelings behind. The Brando too. But Robert Capa has more background behind more … force. The rest are pictures. They lack the life you have these two back. Photo of Robert Capa “speech.” The others do not. That’s it.

Satantango – Atlantic Books!! I love trees…
On The Road to Babadag 🙂
Just a great image made more…
Road to Babadag is the best cover.
The black and white image is powerful and draws you into a narrative straight away so tis number 5 in the line up for me. The film noir aspect is timeless and connotes drama and ushers us into that lit interior. – stunning image a short story could follow before opening the book .
Robert Capa always…
The House in France – intriguing and just off camera….
great!! 🙂
The House in France, great!!
Shame you pick such an unspiring group of covers.
Cover of the year is Stanley Donwood’s (he of Radiohead fame) Household Worms, a beautifully embossed extract from his Fleet Street Apocalypse lino cut. The book’s brilliant, too
My favourite is On The Road to Babadag – Random House
Waiting for Robert Capa – the picture shows it all
